Welcome to the World of Pizza!
From the culture of a prominent Southern
Italian province, my parents brought a piece of
Bari when they came to this country and
founded Maffei Pizza in NYC in early 1970’s.
Building on the cuisine of this Adriatic region,
adding their own favor and much hard work,
my family created a home style environment.
I
was proud to be a big part of that family run
business.
Our grandma pizza, gaining many industry and
NYC publication recognitions and a 2007
award,
quickly became a staple in our business
and the Chelsea area.
I will carry on that tradition, started nearly 40
years ago, by delivering a high quality product
from a winning combination of family recipes
and best ingredients served under the
friendliest atmosphere.
